Several days remained until the new edition of the Olympic EcoFest. On September 30, the Park “Valea Morilor” of Chisinau will turn into a little sports town, IPN reports.

The event will include a number of sports competitions, in canoe sprint, tennis, horse-racing, volleyball, beach soccer and yachting. Also, a group of Moldovan Olympic athletes will plant trees in the park.

On the occasion of the festival, there will be held the third international tournament Canoe Gold Juravschi-Reneiski.

“We will stage two kayak-canoe races, of 200 and 500 meters. The competition will involve athletes from Romania, Belarus, Ukraine, and Russia. In the future, we think to organize a separate canoe competition,” president of the National Olympic and Sports Committee Nicolae Juravschi told a news conference.
