Third meeting on coordination of foreign assistance in justice reform held

The Ministry of Justice called the third meeting centering on the coordination of the foreign assistance for supporting the justice sector reform. The meetings involve the most active donors in the field. The participants were familiarized with the Ministry’s priorities for 2012, it is said in a communiqué from the institution, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. Minister of Justice Oleg Efrim asked the representatives of international organizations to submit suggestions and ideas as regards the optimization and improvement of the foreign assistance coordination format. The minister stressed that a monitoring mechanism will be created in order to ensure the coherent implementation of the justice sector reform strategy. It will consist of seven working groups and a coordination group. The Ministry of Justice considers that every working group should include by a representative of the donors community, with the status of observer. Oleg Efrim invited the international organizations working in the field of justice to delegate representatives to work on the groups.
