The transformation of the municipality of Chisinau into a regional economic center, the rehabilitation of roads and paving of sidewalks are some of the objectives of Valeriu Plesca, the candidate for mayor of Chisinau of the electoral bloc “Third Force” and its team of candidates for municipal councilors. On May 5, the bloc presented its electoral platform at a municipal company, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Valeriu Plesca, the transformation of Chisinau municipality into a regional economic center by attracting national and foreign investments will enable to build new companies, based on modern technologies, and to modernize or rehabilitate the existent ones. The former Minister of Defense promised to provide free transport for pensioners, to modernize the sewerage and water supply system and to increase the nominative compensations by 30%. The electoral bloc “Third Force” was created in mid-April. It consists of three extraparliamentary parties – the United Moldova Party headed by Vladimir Turcan, the New Force Movement led by Valeriu Plesca, and the Republican People’s Party of Moldova headed by Nicolae Andronic.
