The campaign of enrolling the youth in the active military service, that took place during the first of may –the 30th of June this year, was finalized, the enrolling task being 100,4 % accomplished. The plan of enrolling in the Army Forces, approved by the Government of the Republic of Moldova on the 10th of April, this year, provided for the enrollment of 3065 young men in the active military service, from which 1315 - in the National Army, 850 - in the Frontier Guards Service and 825 – in the Riflemen Troops. According to the Head of the Administrative- Military Department of the Ministry of Defense, colonel Ilie Bucuci, the best enrollment campaigns were organized by the military centers from Cimislia, Rezina and Soldanesti raions, that over fulfilled the enrollment set task. The campaign was not so well organized in Chisinau and Balti municipalities. In a press release of the Ministry of Defense it is said that on the 2nd of July, this year, starting with 10 o’clock, at the “ Eternity” memorial, the ceremony of offering the “ lieutenant” order to the first graduates of the Military Institute of the Army Forces “ Alexandru the Kind” will take place.
