The leadership of the Supervisory Board (SB) of “Teleradio-Moldova” Company should have handled the rumours about the prearranged appointment of the Company’s management. “It rests with the Chairman to find the necessary time and arguments to eliminate the ambiguity regarding the rumours about the prearranged appointment of the Company president, TV and radio directors”, SB member Igor Munteanu told Info-Prim Neo. According to Munteanu, the Chairman of SB, Mariana Slapac could have met the journalists who wrote articles on this topic, could have invited them at the SB meeting, in order to make this body take correct and transparent decisions. In retort, Anatol Dunbrovschi, the SB Secretary said that “the press is paid to raise a big smoke”. Media in Chisinau recently announced the names of the candidates who will be appointed to the aforementioned offices – Valentin Todercan will be appointed as Company’s chairman, Adela Raileanu will keep the office of the National TV director, and Vlad Turcanu will be appointed as director of “Radio Moldova”. Subsequently, Turcanu withdrew the application for the office of the National Radio director.
