The Splendor of the Universal Music at the Summer Theater in Chisinau

Music lovers are invited on July 27 to a concert of classical music themed “The Splendor of the Universal Music”, organized by the German Embassy in Moldova at an open-air venue in Chisinau called the Summer Theater, Info-Prim Neo reports. Renowned German conductor Patrick Strub has told a news conference on Tuesday the concert symbolizes the cultural link between the two countries, Moldova and Germany. “The language of music is universal and can touch the soul of every person to hear it”, said Patrick Strub. According to him, this collaboration also helps to build new bridges. The program includes compositions by Aram Khachaturian, Giuseppe Verdi and Georges Bizet, informed the musical secretary of the Organ Hall, Jana Tudose. Among the performers involved in the event are the symphonic orchestra of the National Philharmonic “Serghei Lunchevici”, conductor Patrick Strub, German soloist Marcel Rosca and Moldovan soloists Tatiana Costiuc, Dumitru Pocitari and Ina Spanu. If the weather turns sour, the concert will be held at the National Philharmonic. Similar concerts have been organized by the German Embassy in Moldova since 2002. The Splendor of the Universal Music will start at the Summer Theater at 19:30. Entrance will be free.
