The Right calls on voters to give chance to Maia Sandu

The party The Right calls upon the unionist electors to vote against the pro-Russian candidate Igor Dodon and to give thus a chance to the joint candidate of the center-right Maia Sandu, IPN reports.

In a press release, The Right says the conceding of a branch of the executive power, which is the presidential institution, to a pro-Moscow leader would mean destabilization of the internal situation, including danger of a Moldovan ‘maidan’.

The Right considers the veritable legitimacy of the future President of the Republic of Moldova can result only from a higher voter turnout, of over 50%. Unprecedented mobilization of voters has been lately witnessed, mainly through new technologies and social networking sites. The party anticipates that a large number of Moldovans who are abroad will vote in the November 13 runoff presidential elections.
