The jury awarded the winners of the Creation section of the 14-th edition of the Romance Festival “Crizantema de Argint”, held on Wednesday evening, on the scene of the National Theatre. The deputy head of the Municipal Culture Department, Leonid Gorceac, said that the names of the participants at this contest would be announced officially at the Award Ceremony on 25 February. All presented songs by 17 compositor were signed with nicknames that the jury does not influence the fact how known and advertised is the compositor. Presented romances at the contest were sung by Viorica Moraru, Ana Dabija, Mariana Cepraga, Diana Saracinu from Iasi, etc. this way, Leonid Gorceac said, for the public, but also for romances’ authors, the names of the winners is still a secret till the awarding ceremony. He says that on Thursday evening 13 singers, including two from Targoviste and one from Bucharest, will compete for the prizes of the Festival “Crizantema de Argint”. Leonid Gorceac reported as well that Ana Piaru, Daniela Vladescu, Florin Georgescu have already arrived from Romania, who, together with Vasile Iovu, Nina Ermurache, Viorica Moraru will perform on Friday evening. The award ceremony will be held on 25 February 2006, on the scene of the National Theatre “Mihai Eminescu”.
