From August 31 to September 10, the XVI edition of the International Book Gallery will take place in Chisinau. The programme of the gallery contains the launch of new books and art exhibitions with diverse titles, such as “Rulers of Moldova”, “Computer Graphics”, “The old-days Chisinau”, “Nicolai Rerih (reproductions)” etc. In addition, the organisers are inviting students, teachers, parents and educators to visit the exhibition – a fair taking place daily from 10.00 to 17.00 in the premises of the National Library, where they will have the opportunity to purchase books at a reasonable price. The International Book Gallery is organised by the Ministry of Education and Youth, Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the National Library, which will host the gallery. This year’s edition of the gallery will take place concomitantly with other cultural and scientific events celebrating the 175th anniversary of the National Library of Moldova.
