On Chisinau Day, the district head of Ciocana Galina Bostan's biggest regret is that some citizens don't respect the work of authorities and cleanup workers. “People's indifference hurts because they ruin the daily work of those who try to make our city more beautiful”, the district head of Ciocana told Info-Prim Neo. However, Galina Bostan says that the people remain Moldova's biggest asset. “We have gifted people who represent our country abroad. Unfortunately, many emigrate, but I hope they'll come back one day”, she said. The district head of Ciocana thinks that Chisinau deserves more respect. “Our capital is so green, we should keep it as clean as possible. The problem is that nobody respects the order that is done. Most of the people living in Chisinau have come from other districts and initially are pretty much indifferent about the city. With time though, they get to care about it. This makes me hope that in the near future the mentality of the capital's inhabitants will be different”, said Galina Bostan. The district head bids the people both physical and spiritual health, as this way the society will develop and reach a brighter future. “Chisinau Day is an opportunity to unite the inhabitants of our city. By celebrating together, we can communicate and build plans for the future. We tried to prepare a beautiful holiday for the inhabitants and visitors of Chisinau. We focus on ancestral traditions because we want our children to learn them and pass them to their children and further”, said the district head of Ciocana. “This year, the District Head's Office prepared several surprises for the visitors of the Ciocana pavilion. One of them is a person dressed as Prince Mircea cel Batran. “We have an avenue bearing his name and we decided to revive a piece of history. I hope the visitors will appreciate our efforts”, said Galina Bostan. {Galina Bostan worked as a speech therapist, was a Romanian language teacher and head of a kindergarten. She also worked as senior specialist of the Division for Document Verification at the Chisinau Prefect's Office. In 2007, she has been appointed district head of the Ciocana sector.}
