The "Electromas" factory in Tiraspol will produce solid fuel boilers for the population and institutions

The "Electromas" factory in Tiraspol will produce solid fuel boilers for both social institutions and the population. According to Vladimir Trandasir, the general director of the plant, the first samples could be ready in February-March, IPN reports with reference to the regional press.

According to the cited source, gas supply was suspended in the Transnistrian region on January 1, 2025. Socially important targets and residents of apartment blocks were left without heating. For the future, the region is looking for partial alternatives to gas heating.

Tiraspol leader Vadim Krasnoselski has ordered the "Electromas" plant to produce solid-fuel boilers of various capacities. They will be installed in all major social institutions in the Transnistrian region.

Solid-fuel boilers are devices that use solid fuel (wood, coal, etc.) to generate heat and heat water in the heating system. They are used for heating homes, industrial and other premises.

According to Vladimir Trandasir, it is planned to manufacture boilers for large state facilities as well as for the needs of the population. "In January, the plant will carry out all the necessary design documentation and we plan to produce the first samples in February, in March at the latest, then they will be sent to the certification authorities to obtain the appropriate authorizations", the head of the plant explained.

The boilers for private sector residents will be put on sale, while heating equipment for organizations will be produced according to the state order. The capacity of the boilers will depend on the heated area and the existing heating system in the building.

The state of economic emergency in the Transnistrian region was decreed on December 11, 2024.
