About 100 companies of the world will present at the International Specialised Exhibition „Beauty”, 9-th edition, solutions of taking care and keeping the beauty. International professionals, designers of beauty industry of Moldova, as well as young talents will attend this event. The exhibition is held in CIE „Moldexpo”, on 2 -5 March 2006. General manager of CIE „Moldexpo” Natalia Ciocan said on Tuesday, 28 February, at the press conference, that the International exhibition „Beauty” is organised in Chisinau starting 1995. Within this period the exhibition area increased 4.5 times, and the number of participants 5 times. In the same time, within this exhibition not only quantitative performances were noted, but qualitative as well. In her opinion, this shows a development of beauty industry in Moldova. According to chairman of Hairdressers and Cosmeticians Union of Moldova Victor Micusa national art contests, organised within the exhibition will offer to young specialists of Moldova the possibility to take part in international contests. „It is notable the fact that the team of Moldova placed on the second spot at a recent hairdo and make-up contest in Saint-Petersburg, where 1,280 specialists of 13 countries participated. Thus, two bronze medals were won at the section evening make-up and fantasy make-up to hairdos of ‘30 and a silver medal for fantasy hairdo”. At the contests of hairdressers of this year, held within the exhibition „Beauty” only Moldovan specialist will participate, representatives of Bulgaria and Russia are involved in other competitions. The chairwoman of Hairdo Art Development Association of Moldova, Natalia Simchiv said at the press conference that the championship of professional hairdo art is held in Moldova for the sixth year, and only the second year the young talents participate in this contest in order to identify and promote new names in this field, but also to show to employers that they do not have to fear to hire young specialists. 35 participants are registered until now. The aim of the contest, according to her, is to raise the professional and ethic level of hairdressers. Over 40 events for professionals and the public, including the decorative make-up and nail modelling, will be organised. Moldovan dealers will present products at holiday prices directly from the producer. „Viorica Cosmetic” will launch at the exhibition over 30 new products for men, women and children. New international trademarks of cosmetics and care will be exposed for the first time for Moldova’s market, performing equipment and accessories for beauty salons of Moldova will be presented etc. The opening ceremony of the International Exhibition „Beauty-2006” and the Championship of Hairdressers Art, Decorative make-up and nail modelling will be held on 2 march 2006, at 11:00a.m., in the central house of Moldexpo.
