The users can now get the latest news and posts from the subscribed websites, blogs and forums directly into the email client throiugh The Bat!, presented by Ritlabs, SRL. According to a press release of the company, the new version 6.3.4 supports subscriptions to the individually chosen RSS feeds. This enables the user to increase the efficiency of their work and to save precious time, IPN reports.

The same is with RSS in The Bat!: you can view, sort, categorize and look in one simple list lots of items received via RSS in just a few seconds,” said Maxim Masiutin, CEO of Ritlabs, SRL.
In the time of information overload Ritlabs, SRL consciously opts for the reputable RSS format. “Modern social media are only designed to "hook" the users, not to save their time and life, but to tie them to these social sites for all day long. We want to save our customers’ precious time,” said Maxim Masiutin.
According to the company’s representatives, The Bat! users can do without using additional programs or plugins as opposed to browser-based solutions like Google Reader or some other feed readers. RSS feeds are displayed in the same program window alongside electronic messages. This is the most effective way to manage news. Subscribing to an RSS-feed in The Bat! is quite simple as all one needs is copy the needed URL, invoke the RSS menu in the program and paste the link. The Bat! will then periodically fetch news as well as update subscriptions at startup. By default The Bat! checks feeds for updates every ten minutes and marks them as read when viewed for longer than two seconds.
The Bat! works under Microsoft Windows operating system. The Bat! 6.3.4 is available in 18 languages. The Bat! 6.3.4 Home Edition costs €19,95, The Bat! 6.3.4 Professional Edition costs €39,95. The users who already possess a license for any version of The Bat! before v6 can inquire about the upgrade policy. Licenses purchased on or after September 26, 2013 are valid for all versions The Bat! v6.xx, including The Bat! 6.3.
