Territorial representatives of non-communist parties create post-election alliance in Telenesti

The Telenesti-based organisations of “Moldova Noastra” Alliance, Democrat Party of Moldova, Social Democracy Party, Christian-Democrat People’s Party, Social-Democrat Party of Moldova and the Liberal Party created a non-communist post-election alliance in the local councils of first and second levels. According to the constitutive act, this alliance was set up as a result of the non-communist option of the voters living in the settlements of Telenesti district, which have massively voted for the democratic parties on June 3. At the same time, the signatories of the document say that the alliance is the acknowledgement of the responsibility it has in what concerns the fulfilment of the commitments made in front of the voters for the promotion of democratic values. The non-communist post-election alliance was created in the district council, as well as in the councils of communes and villages included in Telenesti raion. The district organisations will support in the second round voting scheduled for June 17, 2007 only the representatives of the non-communist parties and will not admit the collaboration with the Party of Communists. According to the document, the signatories will decide together their activities in order to fulfil all the political, organisational and legal consequences of the Agreement. The signatories call on the district organisations of other democratic political parties to join this Agreement.
