A young girl aged 22 was cruelly murdered in a hostel in Bacioi village, and the policeman who wanted to help her was hospitalized with multiple cut injuries. The crime took place on Friday morning, 9 June, in a hostel on the street Independentei of the village Bacioi, Chisinau municipality. According to the head of MAI Press Center, Ala Meleca, at 6:30, a young man, lodger of the hostel, aged 21, entered by force in the room of a young woman, aged 22, with the purpose to rape her. Without managing to achieve his goal, the aggressor hit her many times with a knife. The district policeman, Victor Barladeanu, inspector at the Police Station of Botanica district of the capital, living in the same hostel, heard the cries of the victim and tried to help her. At the moment when the policeman entered the room, the aggressor cut the girl’s neck, and then stabbed Barladeanu 7 times and ran away. In half an hour, he was arrested by the policemen of district Botanica, alerted by the wife of the injured inspector. According to the police, 2 months ago, the same aggresor was arrested by the police for rape and aggression attempt, but the court set him free under the interdiction to leave the locality. The mayor of the village, Ion Bivol, considers that this crime would never have occurred if the young man were sentenced for rape attempt 2 months ago. The murdered girl has successfully graduated the university a day before.
