The hunting of boars in the 2010-2011 season is allowed from October 24 until December 26, of hares – from December 5, 2010 until January 9, 2011, while of ducks – between October 2 October and December 26, 2010. A decision to this effect was approved by the Government at its August 10 meeting, Info-Prim Neo reports. The hunting of spotted deer, elks, roe and partridges is banned throughout the season owing to the low density of their populations in Moldova's forests. The Government's decision sets limits on the hunting of pheasants, pigeons, geese, ducks, coots, grouses, quails, hares and wild boars.
