Termoelectrica promotes energy efficiency measures

Opportunities to improve the energy efficiency of apartment buildings and programs to which dwellers associations can apply were presented in a working meeting of specialists of Termoelectrica with representatives of the Energy Efficiency Agency, the project “ESCO Moldova – Transforming the market for Urban Energy Efficiency in Moldova by introducing Energy Service Companies” and members of a Chisinau dwellers association, IPN reports.

Termoelectrica director general Veaceslav Eni said the company aims to develop a consolidated platform of cooperation with housing stock managers, the public authorities and development partners for improving urban energy efficiency.

As a result of the discussions, it was decided to support the pilot project to establish a partnership between Termoelectrica and the Association of Condominium Co-owners ACC 51/417 based on Pandurilor St in Chisinau. Besides the works assumed by each of the sides, the Energy efficiency Agency will also carry out an energy audit in the apartment building located at 52 Pandurilor St.

Termoelectrica and the Association of Condominium Co-owners ACC 51/417 recently signed a contract of cooperation in installing a new heating system for five apartment buildings. This will supply heat horizontally and each apartment will have individual heat meters. The heat and hot water supply will be regulated nonstop.
