SA “Termoelectrica” until mid-September will carry out works to modernize 29 sections of heat pipes with the total length of about 10 km. So as not to resort to disconnections from the hot water supply service during the works, “Termoelectrica” identified alternative solutions and the hot water supply will be turned off only in exceptional cases and for short periods of time, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the supplier.
The concerned consumers will be informed about halts in the service by notices placed at the entrance to the building and on the company’s website www.termoelectrica.md, in the section “Glitches. Planned Disconnections”.
“The results of the investments we make annually in the modernization of infrastructure are seen in the quality of the heating services we offer to our consumers, which improve yearly, especially the ensuring of continuity of the heat supply and improvement of efficiency of the system in general,” said SA “Termoelectrica director general Veaceslav Eni.
The rehabilitation works on the heat pipes are of a high quality and all the working areas are secured, assured officials in charge of SA “Termoelectrica”.
