“Termoelectrica” inaugurates alley with furniture from recycled pipes in Rascani Park

The heating company “Termoelectrica” SA inaugurated an alley with benches, street mini-libraries, bicycle racks and other decorative objects made by employees of the company from recycled pipes and other materials in the Rascani Park of Chisinau situated on Branistii St. The space was identified as a result of a public contest where about 40 addresses in Chisinau municipality were selected and put to the vote, IPN reports.

According to the company, intense work was done during two weeks to trim the bushes and clear the territory of dry branches and grass, to even the land and sow grass, to place curbs and modernize the stairs and sidewalks. The project to lay out the alley on Branistii St enjoyed the massive support of civil society.

The alley was inaugurated in the presence of dozens of inhabitants of Rascani district and the local public authorities. “Termoelectrica” director general Veaceslav Eni said that by this event the company wants to be closer to the consumers and be not only as a simple service provider, but also as a friend that is always ready to help do nice things.

“We set the goal of being innovative and gave new life to the pipes that were earlier used to distribute heat in Chisinau municipality, transforming them into useful things for us. It is an alley on which the whole team worked and that we dedicate to our consumers,” stated Veaceslav Eni.

The laying our works were performed by “Termoelectrica” with the support of the company’s partners.
