Termoelectrica won the Golden Mercury award in the nomination “Important Contribution to Sustainable Development” at the Moldovan Business Gala. For accomplishments in the field of quality, it was also awarded a Quality Goddess statue and the Award for achievements in the field of quality of products and services for 2020 in the “Trademark of the year” contest, IPN reports.
The company’s director general Veaceslav Eni said Termoelectrica was awarded at the Moldovan Business Gala for the fifth consecutive year. “This year, we won the most important awards at both of the contests and this shows that the efforts and involvement of Termoelectrica’s team in the modernization of heating services provided to consumers are appreciated,” stated Veaceslav Eni, being quoted in a press release.
The nomination “Important Contribution to Sustainable Development” is aimed at emphasizing the trademarks that promote eco-friendly production processes, products and services that enable to achieve the sustainable development goals in an accelerated way. The award “Quality Goddess” appreciates accomplishments in the field of quality management.
Termoelectrica is a national producer of electrical energy and heat in cogeneration regime and the heat supplier of Chisinau. The company supplies heat to over 4,400 buildings and satisfies about 15% of the electrical energy consumption needs in Moldova.
The awards were handed over at the Moldovan Business Gala that is annually held under the aegis of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova and is aimed at promoting competitiveness among trademarks.
