The reappraisal of the Termocom enterprise will take place after the plan procedure is finalized. The announcement was made by company director Mihail Cernei during the City Hall operative meeting, Info-Prim Neo reports. “When the plan procedure ends, we’ll get rid of 1 billion lei debt and the balance will be nearly zero, so we won’t have any losses”, he said. On the other hand, Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca is of the opinion that the enterprise should start the reevaluation as September nears, when the deadline for finalizing the plan procedure comes. “One way or another you must reappraise the enterprise so that we know how much Termocom costs. I insist on my proposal of separating the production and the piping. The piping belongs to the city. There is no place for Gazprom in the basement of apartment blocks. Let it be 5% of shares, but the network must belong to the city”, said Chirtoaca. The mayor suggested Mihail Cernei to come up with proposals to the Chisinau Municipal Council to transfer the gas pipes owned by the Capital Constructions Division and other division into Termocom’s property, so that the value of the enterprise increased. Mihail Cernei said that all the networks are managed, not owned by the enterprise and aren’t included in its statutory fund, but in that of the Privatization Department.
