Termocom threatens to sue indebted consumers
SA Termocom calls on the consumers to settle the debts for heat in the near future. It warns that the consumers with debts, who did not agree debt rescheduling timetables and those who do not respect these timetables, will be sued, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the press service of SA Termocom, the institution wants to recover the money in order to settle its own debts. “By signing the memorandum, SA Termocom pledged to clear the debts to the suppliers operating in the energy sector and thus took out a bank loan. Therefore, the recovery of the money represents a priority in the heat supplier’s work, alongside the preparation of the heating system for the cold period of the year,” it is said in a communiqué issued by the company.
Last month, 9,180 consumers with a total debt of 44,775,947 lei were warned to settle the debts so as not to be sued. 544 consumers owing together 4,809,582 lei were sued by the heat supplier.
SA Termocom says it will resort to all the legal methods possible in order to recover its money.
