Chisinau's heat and hot water utility Termocom is technically ready to resume hot water supply and assures the city's residents that there will be no delays from the earlier announced date of resumption, the utility’s spokesperson Iuliana Bogusevski told Info-Prim Neo. “There were detected around 160 ruptures, mainly due to pipe weariness. We worked to fix them so that hot water supply is resumed on time, making sure that problems won't appear when the heating season starts”, said Iuliana Bogusevschi. Termocom urges customers to pay both current and overdue bills to avoid delays in starting the heating season. According to Iuliana Bogusevschi, around 54,000 apartments in Chisinau failed to pay their bills when due. Hot water supply in the city was disrupted on July 19 for seasonal repairs which traditionally last for one month.
