Termocom inspectors visited 36,000 apartments with debts

Employees of the Chisinau heat supplier have visited 36,000 apartments with debts during September 19 – October 19. There were handed over more than 20,000 notices concerning the payment of the consumed heat. According to a communiqué from Termocom, quoted by Info-Prim Neo, the number of indebted apartments in October fell by over 7,000 compared with September. The company said that its 200 employees who have been engaged in debt collection returned to their workplaces, while over 100 inspectors will continue to recover the debts. Currently, 2,449 apartment buildings or 94.2% of the total paid 80% – 100% of the consumed heat, while 149 blocks or 5.7% - up to 80%. The apartments managed by the municipal housing stock management enterprises signed 100% of the technical passports showing that the blocks are ready for the cold season, those managed by the private house owners associations – 59%, while the homebuilding cooperatives – 38%. After the passports are signed, the managers have the right to ask for certificates allowing being connected to the heating system. More than 42,000 apartments had debts for heat on October 1.
