Specialists of the Quality Section of SA Termocom examined a number of apartments whose owners complained about unreliable supply of heat or hot water, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the supplier, an apartment situated in a building on Petru Zadnipru St wasn’t heated because the heating column was faulty. The apartment owner and the building manager were recommended to replace the column. In several apartments on Nicolae Costin St, the dwellers modified the scheme for connecting heating devices and installed additional devices in the bathroom. Also, persons in charge of controlling the temperature of heat in apartment buildings located on the streets Iazului and Zelinschi excessively reduced the intensity of heat. As a result, the temperature in apartments decreased. Termocom reiterates that the only method of decreasing the costs of heating the apartments is to fully stop the heat supply for 4-6 hours during warm days, when the temperatures outside are over 8 degrees Celsius. Other methods used by the persons responsible for meters usually lead to a halt in the supply of heat to the apartments that are located further from the meters and, consequently, the dwellers’ dissatisfaction with the quality of the services provided increases.
