Termocom assigns more staff to debt recovery efforts
To boost its efforts of recovering debts accumulated in overdue bills, Termocom's management decided to reassign 200 technical employees to help the utility's customer relationship department with the field job, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The utility said in a press release that, starting today and for the next four weeks, nearly 300 of its staffers will visit over 49,000 households in Chisinau that owe more that 1,000 lei in heating bills. Their mission will be to ask consumers to settle their debts as soon as possible and warn them of the legal consequences, including forcible collection, court restrictions and court fees, which they may incur if they fail to do so.
The utility notifies consumers that its staffers are required to present their IDs during their visits.
Termocom is inviting both individual consumers and residential managers to cooperation and constructive dialogue and is urging them to pay their debts without delay.
