Termocom almost in default on payment to suppliers due to unpaid bills
The heat and hot water utility Termocom could find itself in default on payments to some of its suppliers because of a high rate of overdue bills, the utility's director Mihai Arusoi told today's meeting at the City Hall, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The biggest debt owed by Termocom is to the steam and electricity producing utility CET-2, 49 million lei. Meanwhile, consumers owe 52 million lei to Termocom.
In an attempt to redress the situation, Termocom together with residential associations sued over 5,000 residential consumers who have huge bills to pay.
