During only two days, more than 5,000 people took water from the nine tents set up all over the country to distribute water during the dog days, IPN reports.
Press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Diana Turcan said the persons who found shelter from the sun in the tents didn’t need medical assistance. The water distribution points will continue to provide water to people free of charge during the period of the yellow code advisory for hot weather, until August 8.
