Dozens of pensioners protest now (noon) in the Chisinau City Hall. They ask the municipal councilors in a sitting to cancel the heat tariff of 540 lei/Gcal and vow not to leave until they make themselves heard, Info-Prim Neo reports. The retirees strive to reach the sitting hall, but are stopped by police. The protesters ask the Council's chairman Eduard Musuc to go to them and promise the heat tariff will be 233 lei/Gcal again. They also want to get compensations, unconditionally, from the Government's and the municipal budgets. Chisinau mayor Dorin Chirtoaca has told them they can attend the CMC's sitting, depending on the number of free chairs in the hall. 20 were let in. Before entering the City Hall's building, the pensioners protested in front of it for an hour, but have later said they got cold and had to enter the building forcibly. The protest is staged by Salvgardare NGO, conducted by Maia Laguta.
