Moldova’s tennis player Anastasia Detiuc entered the Top 50 world rankings for juniors. She recently climbed 23 positions to the 50th, IPN reports.

The climb was possible owing to her good performance at the US Open in New York, where she reached the 1/8 finals.

This is the best position ever taken by a Moldovan woman tennis player in the world rankings among juniors - ITF Juniors. Last year, Anastasia Detiuc took the 313rd place in the rankings. She is 16 and started to play tennis at the age of 7.
