The National Health Insurance Company could stage a tender contest to purchase influenza vaccines at end-November. According to the Ministry of Health’s adviser on communication Galina Sanduta, the Company was to hold the tender contest at the end of September, but postponed it because the submitted bids didn’t meet the set conditions, IPN reports.
The Ministry of Health sought assistance from the foreign partners in identifying donations and is now holding talks with possible international backers.
Last year, the National Health Insurance Company staged the tender contest at the beginning of October and the vaccination against seasonal flu in the municipality of Chisinau started in about a month.
