Ten passengers of a minibus running on the Harbovat – Chisinau route were taken to the hospital with injuries after the minibus crashed violently into a tank trunk.

The accident happened near Sangera town of Chisinau municipality at about 11 am on June 15. Contacted by phone by IPN, head of the press service of the Chisinau Police Division Adrian Jovmir said the minibus travelled to Chisinau in the same direction as the trunk and it’s not yet clear how the two vehicles collided. The front part of the minibus was damaged.

Petru Cravet, press officer of the Chisinau Emergency Hospital, has told IPN that the ambulances brought four men and six women aged between 20 and 60 to the hospital. The persons suffered medium traumas. The doctors are to decide if the persons will be hospitalized or will receive ambulatory treatment.

It is not yet clear who is to blame for the accident, but the punishment for the guilty driver will be set depending on the severity of the injuries suffered by the passengers, which will be determined by the medical-legal examination.
