The Parliament’s commission on culture, education, research, youth, sport and the media examined the filed applications and accepted ten candidates to the interview stage of the contest to choose three members of the Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC), IPN reports.

Those who aspire to the post of BCC member are: Lidia Viziru, Iulian Roșca, Vitalie Bujnița, Nicolae Spătaru, Nicolae Fabian, Viorel Molea, Marcel Marin, Corneliu Mihalache, Victoria Son and Leonid Smolnitski.

The interviews will be held on December 5, starting at 11am.  

The BCC members are named by a Parliament decision for a six-year term. The contest was announced following the expiration of the terms in office of Iurie Colesnic, Cristina Duca and Olga Barbălată on November 16 this year.
