Ten more states qualify for Eurovision final, including Romania

Romania, alongside another nine states, have qualified for the May 13 Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv. The second semifinal held in the evening of May 11 involved competitors from 18 states, IPN reports.

Nine more states have qualified together with Romania, namely Bulgaria, Belarus, Croatia, Hungary, Denmark, Israel, Norway, the Netherlands, and Austria. The representatives of 26 states will mount the stage in Kiev on May 13. The UK, Italy, Germany, France and Spain qualify for the final automatically as the founders of the contest, alongside the host country.

Moldova, Azerbaijan, Greece, Sweden, Portugal, Poland, Armenia, Australia, Cyprus, and Belgium qualified for the final after the first semifinal held on May 9.
