Residents of Ungheni and Orhei districts found grenades dating from the Second World War, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, 10 F1 grenades without fuses were discovered by an inhabitant of Pelivan village of Orhei district during works on the garbage dump located near the village. Another grenade was found by a man from Ungheni district in his garden during agricultural works. The police transported the grenades to a safe place. As many as 117 pieces of munitions dating from the Second World War have been found and deactivated in Moldova since the start of this year.
