Ten children aged between 7 and 15 were admitted with food poisoning to the Municipal Children’s Contagious Diseases Hospital. Two of them were placed in intensive care. Their state of health is serious, but stable, IPN reports.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, the children suffered poisoning after eating at the canteen of Secondary School No.74 of Tohatin commune that forms part of Chisinau municipality.

According to the Chisinau City Hall, the municipality ordered to suspend the activity of the public food combine “Adolescența” of Ciocana district, which supplies food to Secondary School No.74, until the cause of food poisoning is found out.

The laboratory analysis will show the cause of poisoning in five days.
