Ten children from boarding schools and special education institutions of Chisinau municipality will go to Belarus’s Minsk on December 25 to take part in the festivity that will be held to inaugurate the main Christmas tree of the country, the head of the Mayor General’s staff Lilian Carp announced Monday, quoted by IPN.

Lilian Carp said that while in Minsk the children will also go to the circus. The trip is organized as part of an agreement of cooperation between the Chisinau City Hall and the Minsk City Hall.

Lilian Carp also said that the best ten sportspersons of Chisinau municipality will be awarded on December 23. The format of the event will be different from that of last years as there will be awarded athletes from every federation taking part in the Olympic Games and from the sports schools of Chisinau.
