Chișinău Municipal Council will receive ten apartments from ten economic agents. Subsequently, the apartments will receive social housing status. In this context, the CMC approved a decision regarding the establishment of the Housing Advisory Commission and its composition.
Deputy head of the General Department for Housing and Communal Development, Ghenadie Dubița, told IPN that this is a CMC decision dating back from 2014, which provides for the lease of a land lot in exchange for ten apartments in the apartment building that has was built on that land lot. The apartments, which will be converted into social housing, are situated on Carierei street.
The Housing Advisory Commission will ensure the reception of the ten apartments. Ghenadie Dubița said that, according to the Law on housing, the apartments are to be assigned social housing status. Subsequently, the distribution of these homes will be carried out by another special commission, which will be set up at a later date.
The deputy mayor Victor Chironda, the head of the DGLCA, Ion Burdiumov, representatives of other subdivisions and four municipal councilors are on the Housing Advisory Commission.
