Temperatures next week will return to the normal level for this period of the year. Starting with September 7, they will decrease by at least 10°C from 38°C the previous days. Rain was forecast for the central and northern districts of the country for today, September 4. This Sunday, there will be rain with thunder and lightning all over Moldova.
First vice director of the State Hydrometeorology Service Svetlana Stirbu has told IPN that the temperatures next week will be closer to the norm for this period. “Tomorrow it is practically the last day with high temperatures. The weather will grow colder afterward,” she stated.
For September 3-4, the State Hydrometeorology Service issued a yellow code warning for hot weather. The temperatures vary between 33 and 35°C.
