Nighttime temperatures of minus 17°C are forecast for January 7, when it is celebrated Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar. During the day the temperatures will not exceed 7°C. 

Forecaster Natalia Golub has told IPN that light snow and intensification of the wind are expected on Christmas Eve. “In general, the coming weekend will be cold,” stated the forecaster.

When the temperatures decline, they will be within the norm for this period of the year. “Today we have 7°C and this is over the norm. In the coming period, we will have temperatures typical for this period,” said Natalia Golub.
