The weather started to grow warmer and the temperatures next week are projected to reach +17°C, IPN reports.
Gennady Roșca, head of the Forecasts Division of the State Hydrometeorological Service, said the temperatures will be within the limits for the end of March and the start of April. The wind will blow moderately, without intensifications.
For March 29, State Hydrometeorological Service forecast rain in northern and central Moldova.
Nighttime temperatures during March 26 and April 1 will range between -3°C and +8°C, while daytime temperatures – between +7°C and +17°C.
Gennady Roșca said the low temperatures and snow of the last few weeks were due to cold atmospheric fronts that crossed Moldova’s territory.
According to the State Hydrometeorological Service, the warmest day of March 26 was in 1994, when +27.3°C were recorded in Tiraspol. The coldest day of March 26 on record was in 1997, when -9.3°C were registered in Tiraspol.
