Though the temperatures during the last two days decreased suddenly, these are at a very high level for this period of the year. Weather forecasters anticipate the temperatures will not fall considerably until the end of November, IPN reports.
On November 22, the temperatures in northern Moldova were by three 3°C higher than the norm for this period, while in southern Moldova – by 11°C higher.
“This week the nighttime temperatures will not drop below 0°C. The forecast is updated daily and negative values are possible, but it is rather improbable,” said forecaster Natalia Canter.
No snow is expected until the end of this month. On November 30, the highest temperatures will be around 10°C, while the lowest ones – around 7°C. Sleet is forecasts in the northern districts for November 25. In the rest of the country, it will rain this week.
