The national telecommunications agency ANRCETI is inviting companies to bid to become the administrator of a centralized database that will enable the implementation of the national number portability program, the agency said in a press release. The administrator will be selected in an open international contest based on ToR criteria. The successful bidder will have the task to organize, operate, administrate and maintain the database as well as to coordinate and supervise the number portability process. Both national and foreign companies or associations of companies are invited to bid. Applications together with the bids should be submitted until July 30 at the ANRCETI headquarters, with the contest itself to be held during August 6-20.
