A 42-year-old man was detained for allegedly sexually exploiting teenage girls after drugging them. Among the victims was a 12-year-old girl, IPN reports, with reference to the General Police Inspectorate.

The individual is from Chisinau. He allegedly had sexually exploited young women since 2019. He met the victims at night, while driving the car through Chisinau. He offered them to go to his home with him. In rented homes, the man gave the girls drugs and sexually abused them.

After a teenager recorded him and reported him to the police, the suspect was detained by police officers of the Special Brigade “Fulger” and officers of the National Investigation Inspectorate.

For now, the individual is investigated for the sexual exploitation of three teenage girls.

Under the Criminal Code, the man faces life imprisonment or at least 15 years in prison.
