A man whose identity is still unknown was admitted to the intensive care unit of the Emergency Hospital with serious traumas suffered in a traffic accident on Sunday in Chisinau. According to the Road Police, a man in his early forties was violently hit on Bogdan Voievod Street by a Volkswagen-Passat, driven by a teenager, 17, without a driver’s license. The man has about 175 cm of height, black hair, wears glasses, was dressed in a brown jacket, jeans and sweater. Persons who can provide information about the man’s identity are invited to call 27-25-01, 88-92-09 or 902. Another pedestrian, 27, was hit on Independentei Street by a BMW, driven by a young man, 19. The victim suffered a head trauma. A motorcycle, driven by a young man, 24, hit a tree near Ciorescu village, at about 2:00am. Both the driver and his passenger suffered serious traumas, being admitted to the intensive care unit of the Emergency Hospital. Five persons were injured in 4 road accidents that took place on Sunday in Chisinau. On weekend, traffic officers fined 30 drivers for drunk-driving, 156 for speeding, 25 pedestrians for jaywalking.
