A 14-year-old Chisinau teenager has been sentenced to 5 years in prison for attempting to molest his little cousin, a 3-year-old girl. However, the youthful offender will remain on four years probation. According to Ciocana Prosecutor’s Office, while visiting his relatives in the suburban town of Vadul lui Voda, the teenager took advantage of the victim’s helplessness and attempted to have sexual intercourse with his cousin. But the adolescent was so scared to get caught that he failed to achieve his intention. The judgment may be appealed as established by law.
