The technical works performed by operators who administer and maintain the informational server of the Customs Service were completed. The works lasted for about eight hours and covered all the customs posts of Moldova.
Though the institution’s press service reported there were no queues and obstructions at the customs posts, people said they queued up for over three hours without being told about the problems that appeared, IPN reports.
The technical works on the server started in the afternoon of February 7. The longest queues formed at the Leuseni-Albita customs post, where over 60 trucks remained blocked at the entry into and exit from Moldova. The registration procedure was performed manually. Drivers said that after staying in the customs post for three hours, they were allowed to pass without being registered.
