Civic education and physical education teachers will be trained to give first aid in emergencies. The training courses will be conducted by specialists of the National Pre-Hospital Medical Assistance Center during February 13 - September 1, 2017. An order to this effect was signed by Minister of Health Ruxanda Glavan, IPN reports.

The emergency doctors will give theoretical and practical lessons about the steps that must be taken in emergencies. The teachers will be explained how to correctly check the respiration, pulse and blood pressure of the person who need first aid, how to perform cardiopulmonary and brain resuscitation and to avoid airway obstruction in a faint. There will be shown methods of immobilizing and transporting patients with fractures.

The course will involve representatives of all the education institutions of the country.
