The administration board of the Hancesti district education division ordered firing the teacher who hit a student two days ago. The school’s principal will receive a severe reprimand, IPN reports.

The Ministry of Education issued a communique, saying the teachers who use violence against students must be removed from the system as the school must ensure a child-friendly environment.

The incident in Hancesti happened during classes on January 13. According to the district education division, the teacher admitted his guilt.
