A cab overturned at the intersection of the Chisinau streets Shchusev and Bulgara after it was struck by another car in the evening of July 17.

Contracted by IPN, head of the press service of the Chisinau Police Division Adrian Jovmir said the taxi of Renault make traveled on the main road and the other car, also a Renault, was to give way to it, but it didn’t. As a result, the two vehicles collided and one of them turned upside down.

The taxi driver was taken to the hospital with different injuries. The 26-year-old woman who was a passenger of the cab was unhurt.

Both of the drivers were to take the blood alcohol test. Doctors are to establish the gravity of the injuries sustained by the cab driver and the driver to blame will be punished correspondingly.
